Maritime Security Strategy

The Maritime Security Strategy (the Strategy) provides direction for New Zealand’s maritime security sector by setting out a vision for a sector that contributes to the advancement of New Zealand’s national security through a common approach, coordinated investment decisions and effective resource prioritisation.

The Strategy focuses attention on protection of New Zealand’s maritime border, marine resources and regional maritime security interests.
