Creating a logistics plan

The logistics plan is a sub-plan within the Incident Action Plan. If you’re the Incident Controller, you need to make sure you have a logistics plan that includes detailed information about SAR resources.
Include information on sourcing and tracking SAR resources
The logistics plan should include information about:
- what the best SAR resources are for the task
- where SAR resources have been sourced from
- when SAR resources accept a SAR task
- when SAR resources arrive at a location and are ready for deployment
- where SAR resources will be managed
- how SAR resources will be managed
- who will manage and support SAR resources
- the cost of SAR resources against the SAR operation’s budget.
